Lewis Cowart Lewis Cowart of Lakeland peacefully passed away from cancer and Parkinson""s disease on July 15, 2016, at the age of 78. Visitation with the family will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 S. Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, Florida, on Monday, July 18th at 1:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Lewis was retired from Publix Super Markets where he was a truck driver for 30+ years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Angie Cowart; 3 step- children, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 3 sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823.
