LeRoy Bradley, 83 Lakeland " LeRoy Bradley, 83 walked through the gates of Heaven on Sunday, July 12, 2015. LeRoy was born in Birdtown, NC. LeRoy proudly served his Country, retiring from the USAF in 1971, since retirement was not his style he continued working in Radio for 22 years and was working with Showcase Media prior to his passing. Being the people person he was, he never met a stranger. His love and pride for Downtown Lakeland was unending. The Members of AAF " Polk County were his extended Family. His love of Country and Family continues on in our wonderful and loving Memories. LeRoy is preceded in death by his parents TJ and Vada Brown Bradley, Brothers; Charles and Johnny Bradley, Sisters; Wilma Farley and Virginia Proffitt. LeRoy is survived by his wife Yvonne of 36.5 years, his children: Amanda (Tony) Lakeland, Thomas (Tinea) Raleigh, NC and Margaret (Mel) Mobile, AL. Grandchildren: Melissa (Sebastian) Raleigh, NC; Sarah (Dan), Washington, NC; Hannah (Chris) Ireland and Benjamin Raleigh, NC Diana, Mobile, AL. Great Grandchildren: Maria, Wesley, Ethan and Hattie. The family will receive friends for a visitation, Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Heath Funeral Chapel in the Tribute Center 328 South Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801. Burial will be Monday, July 27, 2015, at 10:00 am at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
