Lenoir Dekle Warren

Lenoir Dekle Warren, 94 Lenoir Dekle Warren went to be with the Lord on the evening of March 24th, 2015 at the age of 94. A resident of Lakeland during most of the first half of the 20th century, Lenoir was the valedictorian of Lakeland High School""s class of 1938. She went on to obtain her Bachelor""s degree in Education from Florida State College for Woman in 1942. After both teaching and working as a school librarian for many years, she dedicated herself fulltime to her family. Lenoir could best be characterized as a woman of deep, unwavering and abiding faith. A friend captured her beautifully when she wrote: ""Lenoir was a little woman, barely five feet tall. Her heart was in mission work and prayer ministry. Her prayers were like mini-sermons. If you were on her prayer list, you were a very lucky person. "" Lenoir was proceeded in death by her husband, Hosea Fennell Warren Jr., and infant son ""Zeke"". She leaves behind a beloved daughter, Sallie, as well as many dear, dear friends and family members in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida including her brother, Carl Dekle, his wife Alice Lene Dekle and her daughter Linda Wakeman of Plant City ; and her niece, Sheila Dekle Talcott her husband Tommy Talcott of Lakeland along with their 2 children Shelly and Brendt and their families. Lenoir will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Burial Park in a private family ceremony.
