Lennox Russell Barrand

Lennox R. Barrand (Len's Mobil Mart), 79, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 20th after a long battle with COPD. Lennox was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was born in Capreol, Ontario, Canada in October of 1936 but moved to the United States in 1964 making it his permanent residence. Lennox was a business owner for most if his life and enjoyed interacting with and providing service for the city of Lakeland for 36 years at Len's Mobil Mart at the corner of Florida Ave. and Edgewood. The greatest joy in Len's life was his family who survive him. He was husband to Ina (Clark) Barrand, father to Lennie Barrand (Angela), Lori Polson (John), Lenna Black (Dave), grandfather to 11, and great grandfather to 6 with 2 more on the way. Lennox was a man of great integrity, compassion, commitment, and perseverance. He will be dearly missed. A service celebrating his life will be conducted at Heath Funeral Home on Saturday, July 23rd at 1:30pm. Calling hours and viewing will precede the service at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage a donation to Good Shepherd Hospice Home in Len's honor.
