Laurie Madonia

Laurie Elizabeth Madonia 50 Pharmaceutical and Hospital Executive Laurie Elizabeth Madonia, beloved daughter of Evelyn and Batista Madonia, Sr., died peacefully after a long battle with Cancer, on April 25, 2012 at the Moffitt Cancer Center! She was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, and had been a resident of Lakeland, Florida, for the past 31 years! Laurie was a graduate of Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, and had a wonderful and successful career as a Pharmaceutical and Hospital Executive, for over twenty-five years; she went on to receive the Circle of Excellence Award from her Company many times! She was loved by all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed! She is survived by her parents, Evelyn and Batista Madonia, Sr., her husband Charbel Gomez, her sister, Rosemary Madonia, her brother Stephen Madonia, Sr., his wife, Tracy, and their children, Stephen, Jr., and Lauren Madonia; She is further survived by her brother, Batista Madonia, III, his wife, Angela, and his children, Ona, Fawn, Alura, and Batista, Madonia, IV, and several uncles, aunts, and cousins! The family will receive friends on Monday April 30, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Heath Funeral Chapel and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday May, 1, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 210 W.
