Laurence Groover

Laurence Alvin Groover Sr. 83 Laurence Groover went home to be with the Lord on July 01, 2016. He was born on December 7, 1932 in Yemassee, South Carolina. Laurence was an army paratrooper and a long time Lakeland resident coming from Miami. He was active with his church, Harvest Assembly of God and with the retirement home ministry. He had a great sense of humor that always left a smile on someone's face. He is survived by his wife, Fay Groover of 60 years and 3 children, Laurence Alvin Groover Jr. (Kari), Charlton Groover (Lisa), Cheryl (Groover) McMaster, Grandchildren; Shaunna Mizelle, Raymond McMaster, Karli Stanley, Tylor Groover, Caleb Groover, Eli Groover, Great Grandchildren; Wes and Hannah Hammonds, Greg Mizelle Jr. Raelee McMaster, and Charleigh Groover.
