She was a graduate of the University of Alabama where she majored in Sociology and earned her degree in Education. She was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority. After graduation, Ann worked in the Dean of Women’s Office at the University of Alabama and the Tuscaloosa County Board of Education before marrying her husband of 62 years, Weymon Preston Snuggs, Jr. In 1956, they moved to Birmingham, Alabama where they lived for 48 years. She was an avid college football fan who had a tremendous passion for her alma mater, the University of Alabama. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a role model for always having a positive attitude, finding the best in everyone, and knowing that no matter what the situation, everything would be just fine. She was a woman with a strong Christian faith and is now in the arms of our loving Lord.
