Larry Lee Mcfarland

Larry Lee McFarland passed away peacefully on July 7, 2020. He was born on June 27, 1939, in Beech Grove, Indiana, to William and Ruth McFarland. He worked as a plumber for the Indianapolis School Board System in Indiana. After his retirement, he moved to Florida. Becoming restless in 2004, he started working as a maintenance foreman for Winter Haven Hospital. He retired in April of 2018. Larry’s favorite joy in life was raising his daughter, Wendy. The best years of his life were spent with his daughter, his son-in-law, and grandchildren who he was able to visit every day. Larry is most known for his crazy side, like owning and flying a powered parachute. He is preceded in death by his parents, William, and Ruth McFarland. He is survived by his daughter Wendy Pruett (Andy), grandson, Mason Pruett, and his granddaughter Victoria Pruett. A Graveside service will be held at Springhead Cemetery in Lakeland, FL on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 11:30 AM. The McFarland-Pruett family will receive guests after the graveside service at their home. A celebration of life will be announced later, set for Lakeland, FL.
