Larry Cox Jameson Business Owner Larry C. Jameson, age 70, of Lakeland, FL was received by the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as he peacefully passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, surrounded by his loving, devoted family after a brief battle with cancer. Larry's family will forever cherish his memory. Mr. Jameson was born and raised in Easley, SC on June 26, 1941. His parents were Carl C. and Sarah McCoy Jameson. He graduated from Easley High School (class of '59) and attended Clemson University and numerous Ford, Inc. schools in the Southeast. Larry was the parts manager at John Foster Ford, Easley, SC for many years before starting a retail parts store there. In April 1967 he and his bride, Terry Farrell, were the first couple to be married at the new facility of Geer Memorial Baptist Church by Reverend Hubert Bishop, Easley, SC. Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Sarah, and son, David Michael Jameson, Larry is survived by his wife of 44 years, Maureen "Terry" Jameson and their son Brian C. Jameson (wife Jessica) and awesome grandson Peyton C. Jameson, of Raleigh, NC. Larry is also survived by Peggy J. Cassels of Brandon, FL and her children Brad (Janice) Cassels, Thonotosassa, FL, Clay Cassels, Dunnellon, FL, Bailey (Sandi) Cassels of Webster, FL, Margaret "Meg" Cassels and Cali (Dale) Hicks in Barwick, GA. He has an Uncle Don Jameson, Easley, SC and Aunts Sally VonKaenel, Clemson, SC, Claire W. Jameson, Sumter, SC, Dorothy Jameson, Easley, SC and Margaret Ann (Harry) Waldrop of Lynchburg, VA. Larry was adored by the Farrell family and is also survived by Rick (Tut) Farrell, Charlotte, NC, Patty (Tom) Matthews, Mansfield, GA, Bridget (Webb) Matthews, Northglenn, CO, Barbara (John) Keller and Andrea (Charlie) Cox, both of Greer, SC., and many nieces and nephews. Services for Larry will be held at a later date with burial at the Jameson Family Cemetery, 517 Jameson Road, Easley, SC (land settled in 1780) alongside his mom, dad, and son. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to H.
