Kristin Myrick Ilic

Kristin Myrick Ilic " 38 LAKELAND " Kristin Myrick Ilic, age 38, passed away on July 12, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Zoran Ilic and loving mother of two sons. Kristin was born in Lakeland on January 19, 1978, and grew up in Lakeland. She graduated from Lakeland High School in 1996 and from the University of Florida in 2001. Kristin worked as a preschool teacher and found her love of teaching young children at All Saints Academy and Little Shepherds. She was a member of the Junior League of Greater Lakeland and the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Kristin made an impact in her community through her leadership and dedicated volunteerism. She was the daughter of Marsha McLaulin and the late Cletus W. Myrick. Besides her husband, Zoran, and her mother, Marsha, Kristin is survived by her two sons: Grant Ilic (5) and Drew Ilic(3); her brother Jason Hall (Kerrie); her step-father, Doug McLaulin; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rudy and Diane Ilic; brother-in-law Mike Ilic (Mari); sisters-in-law Zora Burch (Chris) and Marcia Hueneke (Chris); many nieces and nephews, as well as a loving extended family. Kristin was an incredible person who loved spending time with her husband, children and family. She was most proud of her important role as a mother to her young boys. She also loved the beach, traveling and spending time with her countless number of friends. Kristin loved life and was loved by many. A funeral service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 175 Lake Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland, 33801, on Friday, July 15, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. A visitation will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel Tribute Center, 328 S.
