June Marie Royal

June Marie Royal, 80, of Lakeland, passed away at home surrounded by family Saturday, May 28. June was born in Doylestown, Ohio, on June 25, 1935, to the late Clifford and Martha Mohler. Mrs. Royal was a nurse for the Army Medical Corps for five years. During this time, she met her husband David. They moved to Florida in 1965, and June became a homemaker. They are members of First Presbyterian Church, Lakeland. June is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Royal, Sr.; two sons and their wives, Stan and Amy Royal, and Dwight and Jennifer; and three grandchildren, David Royal III, Eve Royal and Zachary Royal. A memorial service will be held on June 3, 2016, at 4:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church, Lake Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland.
