John Thomas Cline, 96 Owner " JT Cline Citrus Mr. John Thomas Cline passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Highlands Lake Skilled Nursing Facility in Lakeland FL, due to natural causes. Tom Cline was born on October 23, 1917 in Arcadia, FL to Dr. and Mrs. R. L. Cline. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie. Survivors include stepsons John Hayes, George M. Hayes III, Stan Hayes, one daughter, Debbie (Gene) Hendry, and one grandson, Wiley Miles Hendry. Mr. Cline was a graduate of Florida Southern College and was self- employed in the citrus industry for sixty six years. His favorite hobbies were golf, and spending time with friends and family. ""Pop-Pop ""was particularly fond of his grandson Wiley, who never failed to brighten his smile. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. In honor of Pop Pop""s tradition of making coke floats for Wiley, these will be served at his visitation to be held at Heath Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 25 from 5-7:00pm. Funeral service is scheduled for 10:00am on Saturday, July 26 at Heath Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice of Lakeland, FL.
