John Michael Colson

John Michael Colson, 55 U.S. Postal Service Lakeland " John Michael Colson was born August 25, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL and passed away on October 29, 2013 due to heart failure. John was a U.S. Mailman and was a city letter carrier since 1988. He rescued many stray animals from his route. He loved surfing and the ocean. John is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carlos and Ann Colson and George and Nellie Cone. He is survived by his daughters, the loves of his life, Summer Jane and Emma Ann Colson, his mother, Betty Jane Colson, and his brother, Charles Clayton Colson.
