John Frank Watkins 71 Watkins Associated Industries Lakeland- Mr. John Frank Watkins died on August 23, 2011 at his home of cancer. He was born December 17, 1939 in Thomasville, Georgia. Mr. Watkins served in the United States Air Force Reserve. He was Chairman of Watkins Associated Industries and President of Watkins Motor Lines for over 25 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mr. Watkins is predeceased by his parents, Bill Watkins and Mildred Smith Watkins and his brother William Baker ""Buz"" Watkins IV. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Louise ""Weebo"" Watkins, Lakeland, Fl., sons, Clay and wife Debbie Watkins, Lakeland, Mike and his wife Sue Watkins,. Atlanta, Ga., 4 grandchildren, Ashley Marie and John Taylor Watkins of Lakeland, Abigail Elizabeth and Emily Smith Watkins of Atlanta, Ga., brother, George Watkins and his wife Cyndi of Tampa, Fl., sister in law Anne Watkins, Lakeland, Fl. and brother Kim Watkins and his wife Dana of Atlanta, Ga. And sister Deborah Watkins, Ca. and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to The First United Methodist Church, 72 Lake Morton Avenue, Lakeland, Fl., 33801 or V.I.S.T.E., 1232 E.
