Joann Caulder went peacefully in her sleep to be with the Lord on November 10, 2016, after fighting cancer for over 5 years. She was strong and fought a hard fight. She was born in Sumner, Georgia, where she worked in a cotton mill. She eventually moved with her family to Lakeland, Florida, where she raised her family and later in life worked at Publix until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, several siblings and her first great-grandbaby. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Jerry Caulder Sr.; four natural born children and three adopted children:Teresa Robbins (Rick),Jerry Caulder Jr. (Sherri), Sarina Freeman (Matthew), Dana Parker, Austin Parker (Megan), Joey Parker, and Justin Parker. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren which includes a set of twins. She also has a granddaughter on the way. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law who loved her family dearly and spent her life loving and caring for them. She was there for them day or night. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch swing talking to family and friends for hours. She had a heart that held lots of love and even during her battle with cancer she always put others in front of herself. Her hobbies included reading books, crocheting, going to the beach, vacationing with family and watching her kids and grandkids doing anything from playing outside to big family events. She will be greatly missed and our memories With her will be greatly cherished until we meet again in heaven.
