Jeffrey Lee Griffin, 50 Branch Manager for DEEM, LLC Tampa- Mr. Jeffrey Lee Griffin, loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend, went to be with Jesus defeating cancer on September 25, 2015 at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida where he received excellent care. He was born on November 14, 1964 in Marion, Indiana. He spent almost every weekend at his children""s sporting events. As the grandchildren started to appear he began perfecting his Baseball Card Collection and going to auctions and flea markets. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karla Thurman Griffin, Lakeland, 2 sons, Daniel (Kristine), Eric (Jessica), daughter, Kayla (Andrew) Tavares, adopted children, Ross McPherson, Danielle Baldwin, Joni Dent, 6 grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Isabella, Braiden, Eric Jr., Peanut ""Griffin"", sister, Shelley (Ron) Kemp, and his parents, Floyd ""Buck"" and Carolyn Griffin. Memorials may be made to Harvest Assembly of God, 2120 Airport Road, Lakeland, Fl. 33811. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at Harvest Assembly of God with fellowship to follow. A memorial service will be held in Gas City, Indiana, at a later date.
