Jeanne Conrady, aged 94, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2024, in Lakeland, Florida. Born in Hammond Township, Minnesota, on Christmas Eve, 1929. Jeanne was a spirited and nurturing soul, cherished for her love of ceramics, which she taught alongside her beloved husband, Harold, who preceded her in death.
Jeanne cared deeply for her own children and for the many others who entered her home, where she taught them ceramics and how to find happiness in learning and crafting. She leaves behind a legacy of love and creativity through her children: Debbie Schmidt, Lief Erickson, Becka Legler, Kyle Conrady, and Adam Conrady and her many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Bombard, and son, Kenneth Reynolds.
An expert cribbage player, Jeanne's sharp mind and quick wit were unmatched. Her home was filled with laughter, barks from the dogs she adored, WCCO on the radio, and the gentle shuffle of cribbage cards. Jeanne’s legacy also includes a vast family of 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom she loved deeply.
A celebration of Jeanne’s life will be held at a time to be determined in Minnesota.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to a local non-kill animal shelter of your choice.
Jeanne’s warmth, strength, and zest for life will be profoundly missed but forever cherished in the memories of those who knew and loved her.
