Janyce B. Freund

Janyce Bobbet Freund passed away peacefully in Lakeland, Florida on Friday, April 26th, 2024, while listening to her children sing. She was 89 years old.

Janyce was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on December 12th, 1934. She was married to Warner Buchelt and then later to Thomas Freund who preceded her in death this past January and brother Mark Lewernez. Janyce was a beloved RN and Nursing administrator for over 40 years. She retired from Watson clinic as the Executive Director of Nursing. In retirement, her favorite past times were anything that revolved around her many grandchildren.

Janyce Freund is survived by her sons Scot (Michelle) Buchelt, Steve (Diane) Buchelt, and Robin (Diane) Buchelt, and her daughter, Linda Spaulding. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and brother Alan Lewerenz.

Funeral services for Janyce Freund will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel on May 7, 2024. The public viewing will be from 9am-10am and an open service starting at 10 am. Interment will be held at 2pm in the National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.

Janyce lived by the truth of Christ, that “He makes all things beautiful in His time.”
