Janet Fae Darnell

Janet Fae Darnell, 84 Lakeland " Janet Fae Darnell, 84, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at her home in Lakeland. Janet was a victim of lung cancer, however, she accepted her fate with the utmost courage and resolve. Her beautiful smile, tender heart and love of laughter stayed with her to her final breath. Janet was born in Demotte, IN on June 26, 1930 to Harold and Esther Hockney. She grew up in Northwest Indiana and worked most of her working years as a Bank Teller for several regional banks. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing and loved to dance. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Darnell, and oldest son, Dan Krieter. She is survived by her youngest son, Jeff Krieter, and a stepson, James Darnell, and two stepdaughters, Patricia Ayres and Betty Ann Pawlowitz and a brother James Hockney. Along with 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. There will be a visitation at Heath Funeral Chapel 328 South Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801 at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 23. 2015 which will be followed by a funeral service and interment at Oak Hill Burial Park.
