Tampa - James Richard Greaser passed away on August 12, 2015 at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Frederick Williston, in Myrtle Beach, SC from the effects of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was born in Morgantown, WV on October 14th, 1948, to the late James "Joseph" and Rosemarie Wright Greaser. Richard Graduated from Marshall University in 1970 where he was a proud member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He began his career in education as a high school teacher and coach at Cocoa High in Cocoa, FL. In 1980, he founded J. Richards of Florida, a custom clothing company. Richard owned and operated J. Richard's for over 30 years. Richard certainly was a tremendous sports enthusiast. He was a passionate, skilled, golfer and was an avid fan of the University of Florida Gators and the Tampa Bay Lightning. True to the Wright side of his family, he loved golfing in Ireland. Many were touched by his enthusiasm and enterprising spirit. Two brothers, Patrick and Christopher Greaser, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Greaser Osler and his two grandchildren, Elle and Chase Osler of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by his siblings, Carol Williston (Frederick) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Antoinette "Toni" Greaser (Alex) Lugo of Morgantown, WV, Phillip Greaser of Howesville, WV and John Joseph "JJ" Greaser of Kingwood, WV. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at 2pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 509 N. Florida Ave. Tampa, FL. The family will receive friends from 1:15 pm until the Mass begins. A reception immediately following the Mass will be held at The Tampa Club, 101 E. Kennedy Blvd. Suite 4200.
