Jacqueline Ann Stokes

July 21, 1939 — March 18, 2018

Lakeland – Jacqueline Ann Stokes passed away March 18, 2018 at home surrounded by family. She was born on July 21, 1939 in Lynn, MA. She worked at the Bedford VA Medical Center in Bedford, MA, in the Acute Psychiatric Unit for many years. She loved her job and truly enjoyed working with the patients. Her greatest joy came from taking care of her family. They were always her main focus. She lit up when there was a new baby to love and hold. Jacqueline lived her life with compassion and love. She had a great sense of humor and was always available to listen and she tried to help in any way she could. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Coombs, and her two brothers, John Guillotte and James Guillotte. She is survived by her loving husband, Neil Stokes; her seven children, Deborah Volianites, William Campbell, Rosemarie McFaline, James Campbell, Lyn Galloway, Yvette Galloway, and Christine Johnson; her son-in-law Lauman Johnson; twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Donna Guillotte and her brother, Richard Guillotte. She will remain in our hearts forever.
