Jack Phillip Roop, 77 Royster Mines Auburndale " Jack Phillip Roop passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. He was born on September 1, 1937 in Roanoke, Virginia to Edward Logan Roop and Hattie Mae Keaton Roop. He retired after 20 years with Royster Mines in Mulberry, FL. Jack is preceded in death his parents Edward and Hattie Mae Roop, Brothers, Sonny Roop, Jerry Roop, Jay Roop and Sister Joyce Roop. He is survived by daughter Lisa Barnes and son Phillip Alan Roop and 1 brother Jesse Roop, 4 grandchildren Aaron Samuel Barnes, Moriah Dawn Barnes, Caleb Micah Barnes and Kayleigh Alyn Roop. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Mary Holland Park 510 North Broadway Avenue, Bartow, FL 33830. Bring a side covered dish and fishing pole.
