Hidelisa J. Gonzalez, 83 Homemaker Lakeland " Hidelisa J. Gonzalez, 83, entered into eternal life July 17, 2013 due to complications of a stroke. Mrs. Gonzalez was born December 22, 1929 in Oriente, Cuba and was of the Catholic faith. She was a homemaker. She came to the United States in 1969, and lived in Manhattan, NY until her husband""s retirement in 1993, moving to Miami. Since 2008, she lived her remaining years in the loving care of her daughter and family in Lakeland. Mrs. Gonzalez was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by husband, Carlos M. Gonzalez. She is survived by her daughter, Angela V. (Carl) Ellis, III of Lakeland, son, Juan Carlos (Nancy) Gonzalez of Ohio, and grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 19 from 5-7 pm at Heath Funeral Chapel. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 20 at 10:30 am at Resurrection Catholic Church.
