Olive Baptist Church in Polk City Hazel Eunice Baker Hazel Eunice Baker, born March 31, 1928, the first child to Hazel Alice Combee and Walter Maxwell went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2016. She was a life resident of Lakeland, Florida. She was the wife of Willie O. Baker for 65 years until his death in 2011. She was a homemaker and a mother to 7 children: 1 daughter, Amber-Doreen Miller, (Wayne); 6 boys, Troy Oresta (Marcia); Morris Benny (Sandy); Walter Lyle; Daryl Todd (Brenda); Robin Dale (Peggy); and Kelvin Tracy (Cheryl) She has 11 grandchildren: Troy Wayne Baker, Derrick Baker, Jessica Baker, Shannon McChesney-Brungart, Jennifer Blaszyk, Janna Baker, Shawn Downey, and Lori Jackzentis, Gary Roberts, Denise Wery, Heather Schubert. She has 14 great-grandchildren. Hazel is survived by 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Hazel Eunice loved the Lord. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and a Sunday school teacher in past years.
