Granny Francis Turney

Granny Francis Turney, 80 Homemaker Lakeland- Granny Francis Turney died on July 11, 2012 at her home of heart failure. She was born March 10, 1932 in Hartselle, Alabama. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. She was a Loving Granny Francis to everyone she met. Survivors include her daughter, Darlene (Jeff) Toy, Lakeland, granddaughters, Anna (David), Sara (Kyle), great grandson, Alan and great granddaughter, Kayli, sisters, Elizabeth (Leon) Prater, Annette Gurganus, brother, Joe Thompson, sons, James and Danny Turney, Plant City, Fl. and grandsons, James Turney, Jr. and Danny Turney, Jr. Memorials may be made to the Florida Baptist Children""s Home, 1015 Sikes Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33815. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10:30 am at Socrum Cemetery with a reception to follow the graveside service at the Bethel Baptist Church Pavillion.
