Gloria B. Wood, 73 Lakeland: Gloria B. Wood, 73, of Lakeland, died October 23, 2012 from heart failure. She was born on July 24, 1939 in Salem, IL. Gloria was very well known and friends to many people in the AA community and helped many people find sobriety and lead a happy life. She loved her work as a Therapist, Counselor, and as a friend to others. She will truly be missed by all her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband Larry Wood; her parents Herman and Patricia Behnke; Survived by husband Melvin Harris; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins; 1 step-son Kevin Harris(Marlo) of Mississippi, and 1 step-daughter Kristie Herzberg(Tim) of Highland, IL; A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 10, 2012 at Trinity United Methodist Church 715 Cornelia Avenue Lakeland from 2-4 P.M.
