George Randall Lovering

George Randall Lovering passed away at his home on April 19, 2023, surrounded by his family. Randall was born on July 24, 1937, in Lakeland, Florida.

He was proceeded in death by his beloved mother, Gertrude Foshee Lovering, his father, George Blacksher Lovering, and his sister, Dixie Rebecca Lovering.

Randall is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Janice Fields Lovering, children, Rebecca Powell (Ronnie), Laura Woodard (Jimmy), and Wesley Lovering (Brenda). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ronnie Powell Jr. (Ashley), Eric Powell (Melissa), Derek Woodard, and Faith Woodard, and five great grandchildren.

Randall retired from the United States Navy after 21 years of service as a CWO3. He later worked for Piper Aircraft. Randall enjoyed volunteering in the GED program at Lakes Church where he was a member.

Visitation will be at Lakes Church Chapel on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. with the Celebration of Life following at 11:00 a.m. Graveside will be at Oak Hill Burial Park.
