Frances Powers Kann

Frances Powers Kann Lakeland – Frances Powers Kann passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018. She was born on October 29, 1935, to Robert Powers and Bridgett Dilah Kearney in Manhattan, New York. She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church for the past forty-five years where she was active in numerous ministries. She was a member of the 3rd Order Carmelites; Mary, Queen of Carmel Community at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lakeland. Donations may be made to the Community in her name for the education of Carmelite seminarians. Frances is preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Kann, son, Edward Kann, and sister, Kathleen Langhammer. She is survived by her daughter, Maryjane Hallal; three sisters, Ellen Pasacreta, Edna Vaugh and Mary Northcott; granddaughter, Jennifer Hawkins; nieces and nephews, Eileen Mclndoe, Joan Vitters, Robert Langhammer, Susan Dunigan, Ellen McKai, Erin Muliero, Tara Vaugh, Lynn Noyes, Karen Sessler and Kevin Pasacreta. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 11:00 am at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Terrace Way, Lakeland, FL 33813.
