Frances Brooks Padgett

Frances Brooks Padgett, 94, passed away in Lakeland, Fla., on November 5, 2015. She was born in 1921 in Brinson, Ga., the daughter of Jesse and Ola Brooks. Frances married the love of her life, Rev. Arthur Padgett in Tampa in 1938. Together they served at six United Methodist Churches in Florida. Her husband passed away in 2010. Frances Padgett is survived by her three children, six grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 4-6 p.m. at Heath Funeral Chapel and funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 10 am at the First United Methodist Church Sanctuary.
