Florence G. Heath

Florence G. Heath, 98, of Wauchula, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at her home, following a brief illness. Born on September 28, 1921, in Waycross, GA, to Jesse J. Graham and Kathryn (Katie) de Villeneuve Graham, she was the fourth of five children. A longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Wauchula, Florence was quite active and involved in its ministries for many years. She was especially faithful to her beloved Good Samaritan Sunday School class. A highlight in her life was membership in the Order of Eastern Star. She was a 75 year member of this fraternal order and served many stations in the Wauchula Chapter. She served the Grand Chapter of Florida as Grand Ruth in the Keen-Rose Grand Family during 1967-1968. She was preceded in by her parents and beloved husband of 64 years, Charles Heath, who passed away in 2012; two sisters, Edith Anderson and Kathryn Johnson; and one brother, Jesse Graham. Survivors are her loving daughter and faithful caregiver, Tracey J. Heath of Wauchula; and one sister and best friend, Sally Simpson of Jacksonville. This special southern lady who loved God, life, family friends, and things done correctly, will be greatly missed and long remembered.
