Evelyn Marie Coffman - 82 Mulberry – Evelyn Marie Coffman passed away on Sunday September 24, 2017, at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. She was born at home in Salem, Illinois, on October 5, 1934, to Louie Wayne and Opal Elizabeth (Puckett) Black. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School and attended Lincoln Christian Bible College. She worked as a nurse’s aide for 3 hospitals and as a Bank Teller at Ina State Bank.. Evelyn and her husband, Donald Coffman, moved to Florida in 1977, where she was an active member of Legacy Christian Church and Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved doing crafts, playing games with her family, and keeping family history. She was preceded in death by her parents: Louie Wayne Black and Opal Elizabeth Puckett; her brother; Stephen Wayne Black; and her beloved daughter; Donna Marie Coffman. She is survived by her husband, Donald Coffman; daughter, Andrea Coffman, of Mulberry; sisters: Carol Wilson of Fredericksburg, VA, and Marjorie McCann of Mulberry, FL; and a niece, a nephew, and many precious cousins. Evelyn was always devout in her faith and wished for all to know the hope our Saviour gives. A visitation at 10:00 am and a service at 11:00 am will be held at Legacy Christian Church in Lakeland, FL, on Saturday, September 30, 2017, with a graveside service to follow at Oak Hill Burial Park.
