Evelyn L. Parker, 81 Owner/Operator Lakeland " Evelyn L. Parker, 81, was born on December 11, 1929 to J.D. and Hattie Mae Jenkins and went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 12, 2011 due to heart failure. She was a loving wife and mother. She was a CN graduate of The Nethercott Institute. She spent most of her life caring for others. She was founder and owner of Golden Years Retirement Home, where she later retired. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Archie C. ""Carl"" Parker, son, Archie (Jan) Parker of Ochlocknee, GA, daughter, Bonnie (Gary) Hendrick of Lakeland, FL, grandchildren, Seth (Courtney) Hendrick, Steven Hendrick, Precious Love Parker, Melissa (Marc) LeSuer, Jennifer (Jake) Cumbaa, Archie D. (April) Parker, April (Terrance) Collins, great-grandchildren, Merik and Stellan Hendrick, Summer, Erica, and Marc LeSuer, Jacob and Joshua Cumbaa, Blake Collins, and Ethan and Avah Parker, brothers, Houston, James ""Junior"", Ellis, Doug, Delbert, and Bill Jenkins, and sisters, Helen King and Nellie Orr. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Heath Funeral Chapel.
