Eugene Gerald Gurbacki

Lakeland - Eugene Gerald Gurbacki, sadly passed away on 11/05/2019 at the age 68. He was born on 07/26/1951 to Bernice and Eugene Gurbacki in Buffalo, New York. He was married to his loving wife, Michele Lynn Gurbacki. Eugene was survived by his adoring daughters Deborah Anne Vanderveen, Cheryl Lynn Gurbacki and Jamie Marie Gurbacki. He was a dearest grandfather to 6 grandchildren. Drake, Elijah, Lillian and Mazikeen of Deborah. As well as Allison and Melody of Cheryl. Brother to Sue Waszak, Anne Smith, and Steve Gurbacki Eugene was born in Buffalo, New York. Eugene met Michele in 1979 while working on the Winter Farms in Orchard Park, NY and they married just two years later in 1981. They moved to Florida in 1982 and he began working at a company called Teltronics. Soon after that, they were blessed with the first of 3 girls in 03/17/1983. Eugene was an engineer by trade but most importantly a father and grandfather. He spent most of his effort being a great dad and coveted grandparent. His spare time was spent caring for his family and pets. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and time with loved ones. He also enjoyed trips to Buffalo to visit relatives. His memory will always be carried in the hearts of his family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at Resurrection Church, the home of his devotion, on December 5, 2019 at 10:30 am followed by a reception immediately after at 333 Terrace Way, Lakeland, FL 33813.
