Ethel A. Beth

Ethel A. Beth Secretary Ethel A. Beth, 93, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011 of natural causes. Ethel was born in East Dundee, IL on February 2, 1918. She was the daughter of Charles and Mary (Wendt) Albrecht. Ethel was a long time resident of Dundee before moving to Lakeland, Florida in 1986. She was employed by the First National Bank of Dundee and Community Unit School District 300, and she ultimately retired as secretary to the Superintendent of Schools. Ethel was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Dundee, IL, and later at St.Paul Lutheran Church, Lakeland, FL. On May 4, 1940, she married Norman W. Beth. They were married for 42 years until his death on Feb 28, 1983. Survivors include her son, Kenneth(Mary) Beth of Urbana, IL, and daughter, Barbara Beth of Lakeland, FL, her grandsons, Phillip(Alfreda) Beth, Matthew(Elizabeth) Beth, and Michael Beth, her great grandchildren, Kahlil and Aliyah Beth, and Holden, Hadley and Jackson Beth, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Marcus Albrecht and Milton Albrecht. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Dundee, IL. Please omit flowers.
