Eloise Elaine Simpson, 75 Our Steel Magnolia Lakeland - Mrs. Elaine Simpson, R.N., passed peacefully on October 4, 2012, surrounded by family and dear friends due to heart failure. With her strong spirit, tender heart and unwavering faith, Elaine shaped the lives of many. Endearingly known as ""Shoog"", ""Mom"", ""Sister"" and ""Nana"", Elaine gave of herself tirelessly whenever and wherever she saw a need. Mrs. Simpson""s legacy includes: Lonnie C. Simpson, her husband of more than 57 years; her children, Jeffrey L. Simpson, Stephen C. and Donna Simpson and Lonnie L. and Kelley Simpson; her grandchildren, James G. Simpson, Jeremiah G. Simpson, Hunter L. Simpson, Hannah E. Simpson and Harper N. Simpson; her dear friends and traveling companions Henry and Loretta McKeithan; and her many ""adopted"" children around the world.
