Elizabeth Ann Suggett

Elizabeth Ann Fouts Suggett, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Good Shepherd Hospice.

"Libby" was born in Lakeland to H.P. Fouts, Jr. and Norma Byrd Fouts on November 24, 1946. She was the middle child to older sister Norma Sue and younger brother Jack.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and youngest child, Melissa.

She is survived by her husband of forty-two years, Bill Suggett, her children, Sandy Pearson Ceniseros (Francisco) and David Pearson (Ellen), and cherished grandchildren, Andrew Ceniseros and Hannah Ceniseros.

Libby will be remembered as a gracious Southern lady. She was known by her colleagues as loyal and encouraging. Her family describes her as fiercely protective of her family and friends.

In addition to being a fifth generation Floridian, Libby also had a particular fondness for the Lone Star state of Texas, where she lived a number of years in San Antonio and the Coastal Bend area. She also faithfully made many trips to the Dallas area visiting her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.

Libby proudly cared for her family and home, yet she also worked in a variety of roles in the workplace. During her twenty five years with the Florida Phosphate Council she was mentored as a young woman and found satisfaction in doing the same for younger colleagues.

Her final position was with Penn Pro Engineering. She enjoyed the work and the camaraderie of those with whom she worked.

Libby's family is touched by so many expressions of affection for "Momma" while she faced her health challenges, and since her passing.

A memorial service will be held at 10a.m. On Friday January 5, 2024 at Ardella Baptist Church, 709 W. Pipkin Rd, Lakeland Fl ,33813
