Edward Anthony Waters

Our dear brother Eamon passed on the 13th September 2021 in Lakeland, Florida. Beloved son of the late Eamon Waters Snr 1st March 2020 & Mary Waters 8th December 2021 and brother of the late Irene Waters 9th June 2021. Deeply regretted & dearly missed by his loving sisters and brothers, Mary, Antoinette, Emer, Tony & Raymond, his nephews and nieces Ryan, Sean, Sarah & Lily. Eamon loved his life in Florida & enjoyed it to the full. He was extremely proud to be Irish & an even prouder Mayo man. He never missed an opportunity to promote his beloved homeland. Everyone who met Eamon over the years experienced the charm & wit of the big Irishman. Eamon’s words were always encouraging & a fond memory of “Self-belief & hard work will always earn you success”!! Eamon’s self-belief, hard work & commitment ensured the success of many large scale & high-profile projects in the telecommunications industry. As a family we will always be very proud of all his professional accomplishments. He was a kind & generous person & most importantly a loyal and true friend to all those who knew him. He believed in giving back & that he certainly did in his short life. Eamon shared a lot of laughs with his nephews & nieces, Ryan, Sean, Sarah & Lily. He certainly kept the post person busy throughout the years!! To us, he was a wonderful brother, kind, funny, loud, generous & he loved to have the Craic! His visits home were legendary. There was never a dull or quiet moment when Eamon was around! He made friends easily & was always happy to help those who needed it. 'Everyone needs a hand up sometimes.' His life was remarkable not just for what he achieved but for who he was as a brother & friend. His sudden passing leaves us all with an empty space in our lives but not in our hearts. Eamon is back home now. It is a sad sense of comfort to us that our beloved brother has a final resting place alongside our beloved father Eamon Snr., mother Mary & sister Irene R.I.P. Go dtí go gcasfar le chéile sinn aris. This is the first anniversary of the sad passing of our beloved brother Eamon. An anniversary mass will be dedicated to Eamon in St. Joseph Church, Lakeland, Florida on the 13th of September 2022 at 12pm.
