Ed R. Vaia

We mournfully announce the unexpected passing of Ed R. Vaia, 59, of Tampa, FL on December 5, 2022.

Ed was born in Newark OH. He moved to Florida during his teen years and graduated from Brandon High School in 1982. He continued his education at ITT Technical Institute where he received an Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering. He enjoyed his job as an Electronics Technician in the Aerospace Division of Honeywell Corporation in Clearwater FL.

Ed is survived by his mother, Doris Crosby; stepfather, Harley Crosby; his two stepsisters, Stephanie Gates (Mike), Jeannette Woodruff (Ken); and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Don Vaia.

He is also survived by his loving girl Molly (rescue dog).

The family will be having a private service later this year in NC. To celebrate his life, they will gather on a beach since that is where Ed love to spend his free time.
