Dr. Robert Steven Mogyorosy

Dr. Robert Steven Mogyorosy Lakeland - Dr. Robert Steven Mogyorosy died on Saturday June 3, 2017 at The Manor at Carpenter’s Estates in Lakeland, Florida. He was born in Tampa, Florida on August 27, 1927. He served in the U.S. Army and the Air Force from 1945-1947. His highest rank was Captain, USAF Reserve. He graduated from University of Florida with a BIE in Industrial Engineering in 1951, a MS in Psychology in 1968 and a PhD in Clinical Psychology in 1974 at Florida State University. He worked for FMC Corporation in Lakeland from 1951-1965 as a Design Engineer then as the Executive Director/ Clinical Psychologist at Pasco Mental Health Services, Pasco County, Florida from 1971-1977. He then went on to open an independent private practice in Tampa from 1978-2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Joy Lee Mogyorosy, his daughter Brenda (Mike) Daniels and many loving family and friends. A viewing will be held at 10:00 am with services to follow at 11:00 am at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 S. Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, Florida on June 13, 2017. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
