Douglas Leon Hall, 84 Lakeland " Douglas Leon Hall, 84, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 due to complications from a stroke. A native of Tennessee, born November 4, 1928, to Leon and Clara Mae Hall; he graduated from Memphis Technical High in 1946 and attended college at Memphis State in Tennessee. He served in the U.S. Air Force, worked at the U.S. Postal Service and then began a career in sales at the Folgers Coffee Company. After relocating to Lakeland, FL, in 1955, he founded the Food Brokerage Firms, ""Nova Sales"" and ""Riteway Food Brokers"", where he continued to serve on the Board of Directors until his death. Doug is survived by his wife, Sharon Hall, his children, Jim Hall (Adriana), Leslie (Hall) Schumacher (John), Debbie McQueen (Bob), Bud Deloach (Susan), ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Doug loved his family, tennis, and was a master bridge player. Services will be private.
