Doris D. Wood, 81 Mar-Dee Imports Lakeland " Doris D. Wood passed away peacefully at home, due to heart failure, on Thursday, August 29th. She was born on March 31, 1932 in Widen, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, USAF Captain Larry Wood and her son Steven Kent Wood. Survivors include her brother, Harold E. Dawson and his wife, Verna, and her niece and caregiver, Sandy Jones, along with several other nieces and nephews. If you would like to honor her memory a donation can be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charity, 28 Columbia Drive, Tampa, FL, 33603. Interment will be in St. Albans, WV. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
