Donald D. Allen, Sr., 69 Network Management Lakeland- Donald D. Allen, Sr, age 69, died April 7, 2011 in Lakeland, Fl. as a result of a motorcycle accident. Don was born on June 20, 1941 in Lawrence, KS to Earl Allen and Daisy Roberts Allen. Don retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1993 after 20+ years of service. Don was preceded in death by his father, Earl Allen of Missouri in 1977, mother, Daisy Roberts of Missouri in 1997, and his sister, Bessie Bea of Kansas in 1979. Don is survived by two brothers, Jerry Lee Allen and Ronald C. Allen (twin) both of Missouri, and Don Allen, Jr. and wife Holly of Dallas, Texas with two grand-daughters Layla and Harlow. A wake will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 from 5 " 7 PM, at Heath Funeral Chapel and a memorial service to celebrate Don""s life on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 South Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, FL.
