Diane Marie Turk

Diane Marie Turk, 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6th, 2024 at her home in Lakeland, FL. Diane was born on May 22nd, 1957 in Paterson, NJ. She joined her parents, Joseph and Gisela Turk, in heaven.

Diane is survived by her children, Jensen Pardue and Heather (Jeremiah) Hetzel, her five grandchildren that she adored (Braylee and Jace Pardue; Molly, Joseph, and Claire Hetzel), and her siblings Patty (Kenneth – deceased) Leavell, Joseph Turk, and Paul (Beth) Turk.

Diane, also known as “Nina” to her grandchildren, loved being outside. In her earlier years, she enjoyed spending hours shelling at the beach, traveling around the country to see lighthouses and covered bridges, gardening, and volunteering with her children’s activities. In her later years, you could usually find her working on crafts or puzzles, watching true-crime stories, and playing with grandkids. Most of all, Diane will be remembered for her patience, listening ear, kindness, and positive attitude in the face of daily hardship.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 at 2pm at All Saints Episcopal Church in Lakeland, FL.
