David Ray Gossett

David Ray Gossett 58 CF Industries Lakeland- Mr. David Ray Gossett died on May 14, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center of cancer. He was born February 8, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and an active member of the Society of Mining and Metallurgy Exploration (SME). He was active in the mining industry for 36 years. Mr. Gossett was an avid fisherman and he loved the outdoors. David is known by many as a faithful and tender friend and he was also a dedicated son, husband, father and brother. He was a man of great faith and dignity. He is survived by his wife 35 years, Jennie Gossett, Lakeland, daughter, Mary Gossett, Minneapolis, MN., mother, Gail Gossett, Riverton, Wyoming, sisters, Shelby Carlson, Greybull, Wyoming and Gwen Harris, Reno, Nevada. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 72 Lake Morton Drive, Lakeland, FL. 33801 or to SME Foundation " Gem Committee- In David Gossett""s honor, Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration, 12999 E.
