Darla Paulk

Darla Ann Paulk, 55, of Lakeland, went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2016. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends whose lives had been touched by her kindness and selflessness. She was born on October 9, 1960 in Ashtabula, OH. Darla was a graduate of Kathleen High School, class of 1979. She worked in the insurance industry for many years, most recently as an agent for Tyler Insurance Agency, Inc. She is survived by her loving and caring husband, Hugh Paulk; parents, Douglas and Judy Tabler; sister, Debbie (Daniel) Boyett; brother, Dennis Tabler; sons, Daniel (Assereth) Peachee and Robert Paulk; daughter, Christy (LeVar) Thomas; and six grandchildren, Kamden, Destin, LeVar II, Ethan and twin girls, Keyanna and Brianna, due in June. A memorial service will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 S. Ingraham Ave., Lakeland, FL 33801 on Thursday, May 19th at 7pm with a viewing beginning at 5pm. Instead of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
