Christopher David Rogers

Christopher David Rogers, 23 Lakeland-Christopher David Rogers, 23, left to be in the arms of our Lord on Friday, October 17, 2014. Christopher was born, April 21, 1991, in Winter Park, FL, grew up in Apopka, FL, and moved with his mother to Lakeland, FL, in 2000. He graduated from Harrison School of the Arts and had attended Polk State. He was a loving son and brother and was always there for his family and friends in so many ways. Christopher was a quiet and private person who empathized with anyone dealing with misfortune. He will be so dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, David Rogers and his grandmothers Jane Rogers and Eva Lay. He leaves behind his mother, Patricia; sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Wayne; stepfather, Robert Walloga; his grandfather""s Richard Rogers and Jim Paige; and his Australian Terrier, Oliver. To celebrate his life, a visitation will be held at 10 am with a service to follow at 11 am Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at Heath Funeral Chapel 328 South Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, FL, 33801.
