Charles E. Clark, 83 General Electric Company Orlando " Charles E. Clark was born on February 09, 1930 in Lakeland, FL to Douglas and Edna Clark. He passed away on October 16, 2013 in Orlando due to complications of dementia. Charles was a graduate of Lakeland High School, class of 1948. He received his Bachelors in Economics from Florida Southern College and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraturnity. He also attended the University of Florida. He was a loyal employee for General Electric Company as a Sales Representative for 20+ years. Working in Nashville, Savannah, Tampa, and finally residing in Orlando. Charles was a Scout Master for Troop 29 located at the First United Methodist Church in Orlando, where he was also a member. He was an active member in the Orlando Rotary Club and a member of the University Club of Orlando. He was also a Mason and a Shriner. He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Cynthia Cay Clark, his parents, Douglas and Edna Clark, and his brother, Douglas B. Clark, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Ruby, of 57 years, his daughter, Melinda, and his son, Douglas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778, National Alzheimer""s Assoc., P.O. Box 96011, Washington DC, 20090-6011, or American Diabetes Assoc., 2290 Lucien Way Suite 230, Maitland, FL 32751. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 11am at Oak Hill Burial Park. A Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, October 19 at 2:30 pm at the First United Methodist Church of Orlando, 142 E. Jackson St., Orlando, FL 32801.
