Carolyn Joy Shrader

Carolyn Joy Shrader age 76 of Lakeland, Florida passed away peacefully in her home with family on May 6, 2020, at 8:26 AM. She was born in Miami, Florida, to John E Shrader and Lillian R Shrader She was a Dedicated postal worker and always talked about how she had 99.9% accuracy with the mail. She was extremely proud of her job. She lived in Lakeland, Florida. She loved her gospel music and she sang all the time. She loved watching the birds and would always wave at the neighbors as they passed by. She was the biggest prayer warrior our family has known and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lakeland, Florida. Survived by Joyce Shrader, her sister-in-law of Pembroke Pines, Florida, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by four sisters and one brother. Rae, Hazel, Tootsie, Katherine, Arthur. Her church family was extremely important to her and should be recognized, as well as her dedicated caregivers Denise and Katie. At this time there will be no services offered. Her favorite song was - Amazing Grace. “May God grant you always… A sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering angel so nothing can harm you. Laughter to cheer you.
