Carolyn June Dierickx

Carolyn June Dierickx, 83, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 3, 2025. She was born on December 24, 1941, in Mercer County, Kentucky, to the late Calvert William Hockersmith and Ida Mae Douthitt.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of over 44 years, Charles August Dierickx; her children, Debbie Thompson (Jeff), Edwin Boggess (Lisa), Shawn Dierickx (Kandi), Sheri Nichols (Nic), and Shannon Dierickx (Kristi); nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by her brother, Marshall Hockersmith (Julie), and her sister, Joyce Hoffman.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Hockersmith and Donald Hockersmith, and by her infant son, David Kent Boggess.

Carolyn was retired from Coldwell Banker, where she worked as a loan officer. She loved spending time with her family and traveling across the country with her husband.
