Carmen L. Mcneill

Carmen L. McNeill, 82 Mulberry " Carmen L. McNeill, 82, passed away on February 11, 2015, from complications following surgery. She was born in Keegan, ME, on June 12, 1932. She grew up in Skowhegan, ME, and a graduate of Skowhegan High School, class 1950. She married her high school sweetheart, Alvin McNeill, on June 14, 1952. In the early 1960s, they moved to Brooklyn, CT, and Carmen served as the town""s tax collector. The McNeills also owned the Skateland Rollerskating Rink in Wauregan, CT. In the 1980s, they moved to Preston, CT, and later retired to Lake Pointe Village in Mulberry, FL. She is survived by her husband Alvin, and children, Michael McNeill of Brooklyn, CT, Bruce McNeill of Danielson, CT, Nancy Nye of Embden, ME, and Terrance McNeill of Mexico. Also survived by sisters, Doris Downs of Florida, Ida Hagermen of Virginia; and brother, Daniel Lurette of Maine. A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church, 501 East Carter Road, Lakeland, FL 33813 at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.
